RMP 420 Omni
Segway
A successor of the omni-directional RMP 400 Omni. A robot base which benefits from tried and tested technology of Segway.

- Off-board 2100mA 5-channel charger
- Integrated auxiliary power module with (1) 150W @ 12VDC output plus (1) open slot
- Starter breakout harness (Comms & aux power)
- Platform disable push-button switch
The RMP420 Omni is a lower price point variation of the rigid chassis RMP440 Omni (without degree of freedom along the longitudinal axis). Physical dimensions and overall form factor are identical however, the following features are different from the RMP440 Omni:
- less fault tolerant
- no redundant drive architecture which means it has two less drive battery packs as well as two less motor drive logic boards
- not included is the Segway BSA (Balance Sensor Assembly) which provides raw inertial data for aiding in the user's development of navigation features in their controller.
Auxiliary power modules
Formerly known as Payload Power Option. Segway offers a modular system to power your payload, as computers, arms, hands or other manipulators, sensors like laser scanners, GPS systems etc. Each robot base has a certain number of slots, where you can choose from the available modules.
